– 20 Years of ClickClickDecker Tour 2025

Actually, it’s already twenty-three, but twenty sounds better. It also feels a bit strange to announce a tour that won’t happen for another year. But this is an experiment and a sign of life after such a long period of silence.

Our last concerts together were in 2019, which feels like a long time ago, and it often felt like the end, like things were winding down. We’re no different from anyone else in that respect: good and bad things shift our focus, narrow our options, and require long-term planning. We’re not twenty anymore. I can see that in the title, too. Nevertheless, we’d love to get back on stage together. Even though we hear and feel from all sides that this has become more difficult and the market is highly competitive. But markets have never really interested us. So, here we are again, and we want to spend some evenings with you.

Attention, things are about to get nostalgic: I’ve performed around 350 concerts under the name ClickClickDecker, with various partners on stage. What’s remained constant are Oliver Stangl, whom I met in 2005 on a tour with Fink, and Sebastian Cleemann, who first joined us in 2009. We’re also back with our beloved and colorful sound engineer, Benjamin Sellak, behind the mixing console, with whom we’ve been touring since 2011. We’ve been scattered across the country for years, and maintaining friendships has become a challenge. That’s why I’m so excited to be back on the road with this group of friends. I’m also looking forward to revisiting venues where we’ve collaborated for decades and where friendships have blossomed. Likewise, we’re delighted to have found a partnership with Audiolith Booking, with whom we’ve had a close relationship on the label side for 20 years, a company that shares our vision of fair ticket prices and respectful booking practices.

Who knows what the future holds? I’m looking forward to it.
