And here comes “Bockig durch die Polykrise!”

Following the successful “Statement” and “Im Zenit” tours for their previous album “Zwischen Wand und Tapete,” the mighty Waving The Guns from Rostock are starting a new chapter.

With their new single “Wingsuit,” the rap crew is also announcing a new tour for 2027.

Since 2012, audiences have been able to enjoy concerts by Waving The Guns. A lot has happened since then—in Germany, around the world, and in WTG’s music. But the enthusiasm for their live performances has remained constant, if not grown even stronger. Over the years, few opportunities have been missed to showcase battle rap attitude and wordplay entertainment—coupled with an appropriate political stance—on a wide variety of stages. Sometimes a wolf just has to go on tour to stir things up in the pigpen.

In this universe, bold statements meant to be shouted along with and voiced doubts meant to be listened to play a game of tennis with one another. In one hand, a sledgehammer; in the other, a set of dissecting tools; and tucked into the waistband, a sense of humor and a healthy sense of self-distance—so as never to completely forget that, after all, one is simply—no more and no less—breathing creative output into the world. Never sweep culture under the rug; never elevate cultural creators onto a pedestal that’s too high.

And keep evolving—both musically and personally—without losing the necessary edge. Find new approaches, adopt new perspectives (from which you can both reflect and take action), get a little more out of language, and in the process—PLEASE!—have all the fun you can for yourself and with others.
