This story could be a techno fairytale: starting out with teenage bedroom productions, now playing in the whole wide world. Everyone loves Berlin-based producer Rampue. Not only, because he still is the congenial guy with a trashy sense of humour, but also because with his no frills, tender live-sets he invades everyone’s hearts and minds. Techno reacting to the sun like the sea reacts to the moon. House inhaled by pop music, descending over the dance-floor like schlepp-bass thunder. Rampue is not only the first to play this internationally-hyped sound, but also the best.
Being part of Audiolith Records, Rampue proves that the techno pie is no longer divided between the same old labels. During the past years, he played around the globe and managed to win thousands of friends and fans in all corners of the world. Fusion Festival, Burning Man, Beirut, Istanbul, Kiev: Rampue doesn’t orbit from club to club, but from continent to continent, leaving traces of love behind. What else is there to know about him? Es ist eine Geschichte wie aus dem Techno-Bilderbuch: Erst Jugendzimmerproductions und dann die ganze Welt. Alle lieben den Berliner Produzenten Rampue. Nicht nur, weil er der sympathische Typ mit Hang zum trashigen Humor geblieben ist, sondern vor allem weil er sich mit seinen schnörkellosen, liebevoll komponierten Live-Sets in alle Herzen und Köpfe gespielt hat. Techno, der auf die Sonne reagiert, wie das Meer auf den Mond, House der von Pop inhaliert wird und sich als Schlepp-Bass-Gewitter auf den Dancefloor legt. Damit war Rampue nicht nur einer der ersten dieses internationalen Hype-Sounds, sondern blieb auch einer der besten.
Als Teil von Audiolith Records beweist Rampue, dass der Technokuchen längst nicht mehr unter den immer selben Labels aufgeteilt wird. In den letzten Jahren spielte er Rund um den Globus und schaffte es ohne Promo zig tausende Freunde und Fans in allen Winkeln des Planeten zu gewinnen. Fusion Festival, Burning Man, Beirut, Istanbul, Kiew: So zieht Rampue seine Bahnen nicht von Disko zu Disko, sondern von Kontinent zu Kontinent und hinterlässt dort eine Spur der Liebe.
